Syllabus Update

Hello Group,

This week's updates and announcements:

1. I've updated the course syllabus. Please note the blog assignments. All should now be more clear, but let me know if you have any questions.

2. Thursday talk (with guest Sabine Lang) will be posted on the blog soon (at least the part I was able to record). Need to figure out this new voice recorder...

In the meantime, please review the notes in my last blog posting. The reading you have done so far in Ghosts of Berlin, guest lectures, class discussion, and your own explorations should all help to choose your top two-three topic choices. Please remember to post your topics on your blog and brainstorm a specific question for each topic for this coming Thursday. What do you want to know about the topic?

3. Heidi's slides are posted (see her link under "language resources"). Check back later this week for additions to the slides.

4. Go to Shanga's production of "FAIR PLAY " sometime during the weeks of April 27-May 11 (see this on your own) . May 1 seems to be the favorite date for attending.

5. The Diary of Anne Frank (optional)--Berlin students are invited to join Amsterdam students for a play and possibly post play discussion on Thursday, May15 at 7:30. Contact Julie ASAP if interested. Tickets are only $10. The Diary of Anne Frank at the Intiman.
