Reminders for this Thursday

Hello Group,

A few reminders about this Thursday's seminar, June 5. This is our last seminar of the quarter (!!).
As Shanga mentioned last Thursday, we have several items on the agenda for this week:

* students will be sharing their project drafts. Please be prepared to give a brief overview of your group
projects and individual projects, using the proposal guidelines as structure for your presentation.

Presentations will last approx 15 minutes per group plus Q&A/suggestions from peers and our guest speakers.

I've invited a few guests: Amsterdam director Professor Jessica Burstein and our colleague visiting from

University of Amsterdam, Paul Wouters. Dr. Wouters assists our students with urban research in Amsterdam.
Also invited, Berlin seminar guest speakers. As this is a work in progress(and will continue to progress

preBerlin and also in Berlin), guests are there to offer suggestions, NOT to critique. All the people you

have heard from this quarter are resources for you, please feel free to contact them.

* Projects will be due on June 12 (emailed to us).

* After presentations, we will enjoy pizza and travel talk. You will receive a packet of

information to prepare you for the summer program. We will also attempt to find time to

gather in June or July before we depart for Berlin (with the realization that many students

will be out of town...we will do our best to find a time when most students can meet up)

*We will do course evaluations and also take a look the Berlin Code of Conduct (stay tuned...)

*If you have not already done so, please send me your travel itinerary for Berlin

*And remember: concurrent enrollment forms are due to IPE by June 1.

See you all on Thursday.

Julie
